My specialty, of course, is offering classy, dramatic presentations carving Spanish hams and preparing delectable paellas for parties, but I am also available to assist you with planning a Spanish-themed party. I work with several exceptional professionals to bring the best of Spanish culture—flamenco dancing, paellas, hams, pintxos (small bites, or tapas) to New York and New Jersey. If there was ever a dish that was made for a party, it is paella.

For Americans, especially, paella, a dish that originated in the Spanish city of Valencia,  has come to be an iconic representation of Spanish cuisine, not only because it uses all of the ingredients for which Spain is most famous—rice, olives, and chorizo, to name just a few-- but also because it is made in a seemingly simple, rustic way, resulting in a satisfying, one-plate meal that is perfect for sharing with family and friends.

If you're planning a backyard party, I'd love to talk with you about how we can include paella. Guests love the hands-on process of watching paella being made in the big round pan, or aro, and, of course, they love the aroma of paella cooking and digging in with gusto once it's done and served!
